Child’s Dream University Scholarship application for 2022-2023 is NOW OPEN!!!👩‍🎓👨‍🎓
Hey TYTimers ~~ ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံမှာ 100% Scholarship နဲ့ Undergraduate Program တက်ရောက်ခွင့်ရမဲ့ Child’s Dream Scholarship လျှောက်လို့ရနေပြီနော်။ ဒီ Scholarship ကတော့ မြန်မာ ကျောင်းသားတွေအတွက် သီးသန့်ပေးတာဖြစ်သလို နှစ်စဥ်နှစ်တိုင်းခေါ်နေကြ Scholarship တစ်ခုပါ။
🔶 Child’s Dream Scholarship မှာ ဘာတွေပါဝင်မှာလဲ 🔶
▶Tuition and other fees (e.g. university fees, visa fees, graduation, health insurance etc.)
▶ Supplies (e.g. uniforms, books, stationary)
▶ Living cost (e.g. rent, food, computer grant)
▶ Other / Emergency (case by case basis)
🔶 Child’s Dream Scholarship ကို ဘယ်သူတွေလျှောက်လို့ရလဲ 🔶
▪ Nationality: must be a Myanmar national and have or be able to get a Myanmar ID card or passport.
▪ Age: must be aged 30 or younger at the application deadline.
▪ Financial need: must have a need for funding.
▪ No other scholarship must not be receiving partial or full funding from other scholarship organizations. Tuition fee waivers or other financial support from universities is OK.
▪ Students who are UNHCR registered are not eligible.
💢Acdemic Requirement💢
▪ Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years of previous education Myanmar matriculation examination/10 standard plus two years of university study) or a certificate facilitating university admission (e.g. General Educational Development degree/ GED).
▪ Students must demonstrate proficiency in English and/or Thai, depending on their study programme.
🔶 Child’s Dream Scholarship လျှောက်ဖို့ ဘာတွေလိုအပ်မလဲ 🔶
• Passport photo (within six months)
• Myanmar ID
• Passport
• Family household registration
• Your signature scan
• Previous academic transcripts
• GED, TOEFL, IELTS certificates
• Other training courses certificates
• Two reference letters (1From your recent school, 2.From your most recent employer or From your learning center/training center)
• Three essays (3,000 characters with spaces for each essay)
Essay 1️⃣ Please tell us about your life in your family, your previous education, and any jobs which you have done. Tell us in detail how you support yourself or who supports you in your study. Also, if you have left Myanmar, tell us how you came to be where you are now.
Essay 2️⃣ Please explain why you have chosen the major/program and the university that you intend to study. How do you plan to use your education from this major in the future?
Essay 3️⃣ Please tell us about the work you have done or are doing now for the community. Which community problems were you attempting to address, and to what extent were your efforts successful? What challenges did you have to overcome and how did you overcome them? What did you learn from the experience?

⛔Application Deadline: 28 February 2022⛔
🔽 Timeline
◼ December 2021 to February 2022 – Distribute application forms
◼ March 2022 – Candidates Shortlisted.
◼ April 2022 – Interviews with short-listed candidates.
◼ Mid-May 2022 – Interviewees are informed by e-mail about the outcome of the scholarship application; unsuccessful candidates are informed.
◼ May 2022 – Scholarship team makes offers of scholarships.
◼ May to July 2022 (depends on the university) – Students apply to university and get admission.
◼ June to August 2022 – New scholarship students sign grant letters and budget agreements.
◼ August; depends on each university.
